Job Description

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing Manager to manage and grow our brand presence across social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Social Media Optimization (SMO), content creation, content marketing strategy, script writing for video content, and daily posting/management of social media channels.

This role requires someone who understands social media trends, audience behavior, and platform algorithms to drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Social Media Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Plan monthly and weekly content calendars across all social media platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth and engagement.
  • 2. Social Media Optimization (SMO)Optimize social media profiles, bios, hashtags, and content for maximum reach and discoverability.
  • Implement best practices for platform algorithms and organic growth.
  • Monitor trends and adjust strategies to improve performance.
  • 3. Content Creation: Create engaging social media content including posts, reels, carousels, and stories.
  • Work with designers and video editors to produce high-quality visual content.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice and messaging.
  • 4. Content Marketing Strategy: Plan and implement content marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Develop ideas for educational, promotional, and storytelling content.
  • Analyze competitor content strategies and identify improvement opportunities.
  • 5. Script Writing: Write creative scripts for short-form videos, reels, ads, and promotional content.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging video content.
  • Ensure scripts are optimized for high engagement and audience retention.
  • 6. Social Media Posting & ManagementManage daily posting across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.
  • Schedule posts using social media management tools.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and engage with the audience.
  • 7. Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Use data to continuously optimize content and campaigns.
  • Required Skills: Strong understanding of Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Excellent content writing and scriptwriting skills
  • Knowledge of social media algorithms and trends
  • Experience with content planning and marketing strategy
  • Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools
  • Basic understanding of design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Strong communication and creativity
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Experience managing multiple social media platforms
  • Knowledge of short-form video content strategy (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
