Job Title: Junior Designer

Job Summary:

Rana Metal Works, the leading metal fabricator in the Delhi/NCR region, is seeking a creative

and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play an

essential part in bridging the gap between design and production by interpreting 3D drawings,

creating optimized layouts, and ensuring that our fabrication processes are communicated

clearly on the shop floor. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to build

their portfolio and contribute to projects that demand precision and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

● 3D Drawing Interpretation:

○ Accurately interpret 3D drawings and share bending and related fabrication

processes with shop floor personnel to ensure clarity and efficiency.

● Optimized Nesting Design:

○ Develop precise nesting layouts for optimized laser cutting to maximize material

utilization and production efficiency.

● Detailed BOM Creation:

○ Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support effective production

planning and component tracking.

● Accessory Assembly:

○ Create and assemble design accessories—such as studs and blind

standoffs—directly within the master design file, ensuring seamless integration

with overall project specifications.

● Master Design Support:

○ Assist with editing and maintaining the master design file, incorporating feedback

and ensuring all revisions are accurately documented.

Qualifications:

● Technical Expertise:

○ Proficiency in sheet metal design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD is essential.

Additional courses or certifications in related design tools will be considered a

plus.

● Language Skills:

○ Must be comfortable understanding and communicating in both English and

Hindi.

● Attention to Detail:

○ A keen eye for detail and the ability to produce high-quality, precise designs.

● Team Collaboration:

○ Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to work collaboratively in a

fast-paced, innovative environment.
