Job Description
Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced South Indian Cook who can prepare authentic South Indian dishes with consistent taste, quality, and hygiene. The candidate should be skilled in traditional recipes and capable of handling kitchen operations efficiently.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, uttapam, sambar, rasam, chutneys, and rice items
- Ensure authentic taste, quality, and presentation of food
- Manage preparation of batters, gravies, and masalas
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Monitor food stock and inform for raw material requirements
- Control food wastage and follow portion standards
- Coordinate with helpers and kitchen staff
- Follow hygiene, safety, and FSSAI guidelines
- Requirements & SkillsMinimum 2–5 years of experience as a South Indian Cook
- Good knowledge of South Indian cuisine (Tamil, Andhra, Kerala, Karnataka styles preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Team player with a disciplined work attitude
