Store Accountant

Job Summary:The Store Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities of the store, ensuring accurate financial records, cash handling, stock reconciliation, and compliance with company and statutory requirements.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain daily sales, purchase, and expense records
• Handle cash, bank entries, and petty cash management
• Reconcile sales with POS and stock reports
• Monitor inventory movement and stock discrepancies
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Manage vendor bills, invoices, and payments
• Perform GST entries, basic compliance, and documentation
• Coordinate with Head Office and auditors as required
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all accounting records
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting
• 2–5 years of experience in retail/store accounting
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and billing software
• Knowledge of GST and basic taxation
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good coordination and communication skills

Salary: As per company norms

Working Hours: 10:30am to 09:00pm
