Job Description
- Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate records of all stock (raw materials, finished goods, consumables).
- Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum stock availability.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Goods Receipt & InspectionReceive incoming materials and verify quantity & quality as per purchase order.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Note (GRN).
- Coordinate with QC team for inspection (if applicable).
- Material Issue & DispatchIssue materials against authorized requisitions.
- Ensure proper documentation for all material movements.
- Coordinate dispatch of finished goods with logistics team.
- Documentation & Record KeepingMaintain stock registers, bin cards, and system entries (ERP/manual).
- Ensure all inward and outward entries are recorded on time.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, delivery challans, and GRNs.
- Stock Control & ReconciliationPerform periodic stock reconciliation.
- Identify discrepancies and report to management.
- Ensure FIFO / LIFO method is followed as per company policy.
- Warehouse ManagementEnsure proper storage and arrangement of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the store area.
- Label and categorize materials properly.
- CoordinationCoordinate with purchase, production, accounts, and logistics departments.
- Follow up for pending materials or shortages.
- Compliance & SafetyFollow company policies and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage or loss.
- ReportingPrepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
- Share inventory status with management.
