Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities1. Store OperationsHandle daily store opening & closing
  • Ensure proper display of suits, sarees, lehengas, gowns, and indo-western collections
  • Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards
  • Coordinate with warehouse for stock transfer & replenishment
  • 2. Sales & Customer HandlingAchieve weekly, monthly & seasonal sales targets
  • Guide customers with product knowledge (fabric, embroidery, fitting, draping)
  • Handle VIP clients, urgent orders & wholesale buyers
  • Resolve customer complaints immediately
  • 3. Staff ManagementManage sales team, billing team & helpers
  • Create duty rosters, sales targets & monitor performance
  • Provide sales training on ethnic & indo-western product knowledge
  • Maintain staff discipline & grooming standards
  • 4. Inventory & BillingCheck inward/outward stock
  • Monitor barcode, pricing, and tagging
  • Verify daily billing & cash handling
  • Reduce shrinkage, damage & pilferage
  • 5. Reporting & CoordinationDaily sales reporting to management
  • Coordinate with designing & production team for hot-selling items
  • Track fast/slow-moving stock
  • Provide feedback for new designs
  • 📌 Required SkillsStrong knowledge of women ethnic wear: suits, sarees, lehengas, gowns, indo-western
  • Excellent communication & customer interaction skills
  • Team leadership and training ability
  • Knowledge of POS billing, stock management & retail software
  • Strong negotiation & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure during festive seasons
  • 📌 QualificationGraduate preferred
  • Minimum 7–10 years in ethnic retail (must have Gandhi Nagar / Lajpat / Chandni Chowk market knowledge)
