Job Description

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop strategic plans, implement best practices, and set operational goals for logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and manage logistics staff, fostering a collaborative environment and setting performance standards.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory control, layout, and efficient storage and handling of goods.
  • Transportation Management: Plan routes, select carriers, negotiate contracts/rates, and monitor transport costs and carrier performance.
  • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, analyze data (KPIs like on-time delivery, accuracy), and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Relations: Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
  • Budget & Compliance: Manage logistics budgets, track expenditures, and ensure all operations meet legal, safety, and company standards.
