Job Description

A telecaller is responsible for engaging with potential and existing customers over the phone to promote products or services, generate leads, and provide customer support.

Telecaller interacts with customers outbound calls to inform, persuade, and assist. The role involves explaining products or services, addressing customer queries, and converting leads into sales while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Telecallers are expected to follow company scripts, document interactions, and provide feedback to management to improve service and sales strategies. 

  • Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote products or services and generate leads. 
  • Handle inbound calls to respond to customer inquiries, complaints, or requests for assistance. 
  • Document customer interactions accurately in CRM systems for follow-up and reporting. 
  • Follow company scripts while adapting to customer responses to maintain consistency. 
  • Identify and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary. 
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and call quotas. 
  • Provide feedback on customer reactions and market trends to management. 
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to answer queries effectively. 
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and improve engagement. 
  • Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers. 
  • Active listening and persuasion skills to understand customer needs and influence decisions. 
  • Patience and resilience to handle objections and rejection professionally. 
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and internet research. 
  • Problem-solving and adaptability to resolve customer issues and adjust to changing scripts. 
  • Educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent; some roles may prefer a bachelor’s degree. 
  • Preferred Experience Previous experience in customer service, tele calling, or sales is advantageous. 
  • Familiarity with telemarketing, lead generation, or call center operations.
