Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Manage and supervise all linehaul transportation operations on a day-to-day basis
- Coordinate with drivers for trip planning, dispatch, route adherence, and issue resolution
- Ensure TAT (Turnaround Time) is maintained as per operational and client requirements
- Track vehicles in real time and provide timely updates on vehicle movement and delivery status
- Communicate regularly with clients by updating status in WhatsApp groups and responding to queries/escalations
- Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Plan and oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, and breakdown management to minimize downtime
- Maintain records of trips, vehicle performance, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules
- Handle operational issues such as delays, route diversions, driver availability, and emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transport regulations
- Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, operations, billing) for smooth execution of trips
