*Job Overview:*

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Travel Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel and excellent knowledge of destinations, travel services, and booking systems. As a Travel Agent, you will assist clients with planning, recommending, and booking their travel arrangements to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Advise clients on destinations, tour packages, and travel options that align with their needs and preferences.

- Plan and book flights, hotels, car rentals, excursions, and other travel-related services.

- Research and stay updated on the latest travel trends, promotions, and industry news.

- Provide personalized recommendations for hotels, tours, and activities, considering customer preferences, budgets, and interests.

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and changes to bookings promptly and professionally.

- Ensure all travel arrangements meet legal, health, and safety requirements.

- Manage travel itineraries and provide necessary documents such as tickets, hotel vouchers, and itineraries.

- Offer travel insurance options and explain coverage details to clients.

- Process payments, handle refunds, and manage travel-related expenses.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and travel service providers.

- Continuously strive to meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.

*Requirements:*

- Proven experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar customer-facing role.

- In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, trends, and booking systems.

- Familiarity with Amadeus, Sabre, or other Global Distribution Systems (GDS).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Problem-solving skills to handle travel disruptions and changes efficiently.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.

- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required.

- A degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
