Travel Consultant

Job Title: Travel ConsultantJob Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Travel Consultant who will be responsible for handling travel inquiries, proactively calling clients for tour packages, and managing end-to-end travel bookings including holiday packages and air tickets.

• Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to potential and existing clients to promote and sell domestic & international tour packages
• Understand client requirements and suggest suitable travel packages accordingly
• Design customized itineraries based on client preferences and budget
• Handle complete booking process including hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and other services
• Book and issue air tickets using GDS systems (Galileo/Amadeus or similar)
• Provide accurate travel information, pricing, and documentation guidance
• Follow up with clients to close sales and ensure high conversion
• Coordinate with vendors, DMCs, and airlines for smooth operations
• Handle post-booking queries and provide excellent customer service
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience in travel industry (ticketing + tour packages preferred)
• Knowledge of GDS systems (Galileo, Amadeus, etc.)
• Good communication and convincing skills
• Sales-oriented mindset with ability to achieve targets
• Knowledge of domestic & international destinations
• Basic knowledge of visa processes (preferred)
• Key Requirements:Candidate must be comfortable with client calling (sales calls)
• Ability to handle complete travel cycle from inquiry to booking
• Should be confident in handling both tour packages and air ticketing
• Experience:Minimum 1–3 years in travel sales / ticketing / tour operations
