Waiter / Steward

A Steward/Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean, pleasant dining experience. The role requires good communication skills, basic menu knowledge, and a polite, customer-friendly attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to the assigned tables.
• Present menus and assist customers in making food and beverage choices.
• Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages with proper presentation and timing.
• Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and organized before and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area at all times.
• Handle guest queries, feedback, or complaints professionally.
• Refill water, clear plates, and provide attentive service throughout the meal.
• Process billing and ensure accurate cash/UPI/card handling when required.
• Support other team members during busy hours for smooth service.
• Follow hotel/restaurant service standards and hygiene protocols (FSSAI guidelines).
