Warehouse Manager

Role Objective:To manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material handling, and timely dispatch/receipts while maintaining discipline and system accuracy.

• Key Responsibilities:Supervise inward and outward material movement including RM, WIP, and finished goods.
• Ensure accurate GRN, material issuance, and dispatch documentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Implement and monitor FIFO / FEFO systems to ensure proper stock rotation.
• Manage storage layout, binning, and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and dispatch teams for smooth material flow.
• Monitor loading/unloading activities and ensure safe handling of materials.
• Track and control shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure timely order picking, packing, and dispatch as per schedules.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, 5S standards, and safety compliance.
• Handle and supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and operators.
• Maintain proper MIS reports and stock records (ERP/manual).
• Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar)
• Understanding of FIFO, stock control, and material handling practices
• Good leadership and team handling skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Warehouse space utilization

• Picking & dispatch efficiency
• Preferred Profile:Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry warehouse
• Diploma / Graduate (preferred in supply chain or logistics)
• Hands-on experience in handling high SKU and fast-moving inventory
