About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Website Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for web technologies, coding standards, and creating exceptional user experiences.

Hands-on experience in Shopify website development, theme customization, and app integrations will be highly preferred.

• Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic websites using modern technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
• Develop and customize Shopify themes, templates, and apps to meet business requirements.
• Build custom themes, plugins, and features for CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into functional web solutions.
• Conduct regular website testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixes to ensure optimal performance.
• Integrate APIs, third-party tools, and payment gateways where required.
• Maintain proper documentation of code, development processes, and system architecture.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.

• Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience with at least one back-end language/framework (e.g., PHP, Node.js, or Python).
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
• Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles and SEO-friendly coding practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

• Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of website cybersecurity best practices.
• Basic graphic design skills for minor edits and visual enhancements.
