3D Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled 3D Design Engineer with strong experience in SolidWorks, other 3D designing software, and 3D printing technologies. The candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, preparing designs for prototyping, and supporting in-house product development and manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks and other 3D design software
• Create accurate 2D drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and specifications
• Prepare models for 3D printing, including file optimization and slicing
• Operate, monitor, and maintain 3D printers (FDM / SLA / Resin, etc.)
• Perform prototype testing, modifications, and design improvements
• Select appropriate materials based on application and performance needs
• Coordinate with production, R&D, and quality teams
• Maintain proper design documentation and version control
• Ensure compliance with design standards and manufacturing feasibility

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks
• Experience with other 3D design software (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Creo, Rhino, Blender, etc.)
• Hands-on knowledge of 3D printing processes and workflows
• Familiarity with slicing software (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Chitubox, etc.)
• Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Design, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience (Freshers with strong skills may apply)
• Experience in prototype development and product design
• Knowledge of CNC or other manufacturing processes is an added advantage
