Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Study Abroad Academic Counselor to guide students in their journey to pursue education and career opportunities abroad. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in counseling students for higher education in the USA, UK, Germany, Japan, and other leading study destinations. The role involves providing expert advice on courses, universities, application processes, visa procedures, and job prospects in foreign countries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counseling & Guidance:

• Counsel students on study options, career paths, and application processes for universities in the USA, UK, Germany, Japan, and other countries.
• Assist students in selecting suitable courses and institutions based on their academic background, financial capacity, and career goals.
• Provide personalized guidance on university applications, admission requirements, SOPs, LORs, scholarships, and financial aid.

1. Application & Visa Process Support:

• Assist students in completing university applications and ensuring they meet all eligibility criteria.
• Provide step-by-step support for student visa applications, document verification, and interview preparation.
• Stay updated with the latest visa policies and immigration regulations for different countries.

1. Job Assistance & Post-Study Opportunities:

• Guide students on post-study work visa options, job markets, and career opportunities abroad.
• Provide resume-building support, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Connect students with alumni networks, job portals, and career support services.

1. Marketing & Outreach:

• Participate in educational fairs, webinars, and seminars to promote study abroad opportunities.
• Build relationships with universities, colleges, and industry partners.
• Develop and maintain a database of students, universities, and employers for better matchmaking.

1. Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with the admissions, visa, and placement teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
• Maintain records of student inquiries, counseling sessions, applications, and visa approvals.
• Provide regular reports on student progress, admission success rates, and market trends.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-5 years of experience in academic counseling, preferably for candidates seeking international job opportunities.
• 1-5 years of experience in study abroad counseling, preferably in the USA, UK, Germany, Japan, or other top destinations.
• Knowledge of global employment trends, visa requirements, and recruitment processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to connect with candidates and understand their career aspirations.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and for managing student records.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
