Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports in compliance with accounting standards
- Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.)
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage audit processes
- Handle assessments, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities
- Budgeting & Controls Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
- Monitor expenses and implement cost control measures
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls
- Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts team
- Allocate work, review outputs, and ensure skill development
- Improve accounting processes and systems for efficiency
- Strategic Support Provide financial insights to management for decision-making
- Support business planning, expansion, and risk management initiatives
- Assist in cash flow management and working capital optimisation.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Technical Skills Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws
- Experience with ERP/accounting software ,Tally, Oracle etc.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Soft Skills Strong leadership and team management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
