Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee daily financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and assist in financial reporting and budgeting. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records and ledgers

Prepare and analyze financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements

Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries

Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Ensure compliance with all tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and file returns on time

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Coordinate with auditors during audits and prepare necessary documents

Monitor company’s financial status and provide financial advice if needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter preferred)

Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role

Solid knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with MS Office

Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
