Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support audit and reporting functions. The role requires hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and cash flows
• Perform bank reconciliations and clear suspense accounts regularly
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities using software like Tally, Xero, or similar

2. Taxation & Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions

• Handle Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, traders, and companies
• Prepare, revise, and upload TDS returns
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements

3. Financial Reporting

• Prepare Provisional, Projected, and Consolidated Financial Statements
• Generate reports including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Assist in financial planning and projections

Audit & Assurance

• Support and conduct internal, statutory, and bank audits
• Perform stock audits and review financial records for accuracy
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation

5. Client & Documentation

• HandlingManage client files including document collection and record maintenance
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data
• Communicate with clients for compliance-related documentation
