Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with statutory and internal requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Handle GST, TDS, income tax returns, and statutory compliances

• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts payable/receivable

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

• Support management with financial analysis and reports

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting laws

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, Excel, etc.)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and team coordination skills

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role

• Experience in manufacturing/industrial sector is an advantage
