Accountant

JOB SUMMARY :

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial accounting, cost control, inventory accounting, and statutory compliance for our denim fabric manufacturing unit. The role involves close coordination with production, stores, and management to ensure accurate costing and financial reporting.\

KEY RESPONSBILITIES :

• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts: cash, bank, sales, purchase, journal entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and account finalization
• Prepare MIS reports for management (production cost, profitability, expenses)
• Maintain inventory records for yarn, chemicals, dyes, spare parts, and finished goods
• Conduct periodic stock reconciliation (physical vs book stock)
• Monitor inward/outward material movement and job work records
• Account for job work, challans, and returnable goods
• Coordinate with auditors, CA, and tax consultants
