Position: Accountant

Department: Accounts & Finance

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Prepare GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensure timely compliance

Manage bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

Process invoices, payments, and expense entries

Maintain cash, ledger, and journal entries

Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts

Coordinate with CA and auditors for audits and compliance

Maintain proper documentation and records

Support payroll and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC – if applicable)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent

1–4 years of relevant accounting experience

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic compliance

Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel

Good understanding of accounting principles

Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Experience in retail / e-commerce / trading company

Knowledge of income tax basics

Ability to work independently
