Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced professional with 3-5 years of experience to join our team as an Accountant & Inventory Manager. This comprehensive role encompasses financial operations, statutory compliance and inventory control. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Zoho Books (Tally software and SAP desirable). This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to handle accounting responsibilities while managing inventory systems efficiently.

Salary Range: ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts using Zoho Books
  • Prepare and file monthly GSTR returns ensuring compliance with GST regulations
  • Handle TDS calculations, documentation, and timely filing of TDS returns
  • Generate monthly payables and receivables reports for management review
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms for audits and compliance matters
  • Manage expense records and implement cost control measures

2. Payroll & Statutory Compliance:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees
  • Ensure timely EPF and ESI compliance and submissions
  • Maintain employee salary and reimbursement records
  • Handle salary disbursement and related documentation

3. Inventory Management

  • Implement effective physical inventory management systems
  • Conduct regular physical inventory reconciliations
  • Optimize stock levels to minimize holding costs while ensuring availability
  • Generate regular inventory reports highlighting key metrics
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly

4. Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Streamline accounting and inventory processes for maximum efficiency
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly financial and inventory reports
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings across operations

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and inventory management
  • Expert proficiency in Zoho Books (mandatory)
  • Working knowledge of Tally Software and SAP (recommended)
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
  • Proven track record in physical inventory management

Required Skills

  • Proficient in bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of GST and TDS regulations
  • Experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with external accounting firms

Software Proficiency

  • Zoho Books (Mandatory)
  • Tally (Recommended)
  • SAP (Recommended)
  • MS Excel (Advanced level)
