Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive with strong analytical and organizational skills. The candidate should be proficient in Tally, Advanced Excel, and MS Office, and capable of managing day-to-day accounting operations across multiple verticals — including retail stores, e-commerce, and vendor accounts. The role involves reconciliation, reporting, GST billing, and financial analysis, along with coordination between internal teams, vendors, customers, and CA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting Operations

  • Record and verify daily sales and expense entries (300+ entries per day) from stores, e-commerce, grooming, and resort departments.
  • Ensure all payments and receipts are correctly recorded and reconciled.
  • Cross-check and verify payment proofs (UPI, POS, Cash, Online, etc.).
  • Manage petty cash and maintain daily cash flow reports.

2. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

  • Prepare and maintain P&L sheets, Trial Balance, and Balance Sheet.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Maintain stock value reports and match with physical inventory data.
  • Support management with cost, revenue, and margin analysis.

3. GST & Billing

  • Generate GST-compliant invoices and bills for B2B and B2C transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of GST inputs and outputs.
  • Coordinate with the CA for monthly and quarterly GST filing.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Communicate with store managers, e-commerce teams, vendors, and customers regarding outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant (CA) for audit and compliance.
  • Share payment reminders, reconciliations, and reports with internal teams.

5. Reporting & Data Management

  • Maintain and organize accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly financial and MIS reports for management.
  • Support senior management with data for decision-making and audits.
  • Skills & Qualifications Required:Graduate in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience in a retail or e-commerce business.
  • Proficiency in TallyAdvanced Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting), and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of GST, P&L, Balance Sheet, and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
