Job Title: Admission Counsellor / Academic Counsellor

Job Summary The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing accurate information about courses, fees, eligibility, and career prospects, and ensuring student enrollment targets are met.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel students and parents about academic programs, admission procedures, eligibility, and fees
• Handle inquiries through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online platforms
• Follow up with prospective students to convert leads into enrollments
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions data
• Assist students with application forms and documentation
• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for smooth admissions
• Achieve assigned admission and enrollment targets
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional activities
• Resolve student and parent queries in a professional manner
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skills
• Convincing and counselling abilities
• Customer-focused and result-oriented approach
• Basic computer knowledge (CRM, MS Office, email)
• Ability to work under targets and deadlines
• Educational QualificationGraduate / Postgraduate (any stream)
• MBA or experience in education counselling is an added advantage
• Experience0–3 years of experience in admission counselling, education sales, or customer service
