Application Engineer

Role Summary

The Application Engineer will provide technical guidance to the sales team & customers on product specifications, applications & solutions. The role ensures that the sales team and customers clearly understand the technical aspects, technical specifications & applications of VARALKA products.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer application and technical specifications to suggest suitable product
• Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates based on customer requirements
• Assist sales team in preparing technical documents and product data sheets
• Respond to customer enquiries and technical questions
• Explain product capabilities, technical limitations, and correct usage to sales team
• Assist sales team in answering technical queries from the customers
• Coordinate with production & procurement teams for delivery timelines
• Support the sales team during customer discussions where technical input is required

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of product specifications & technical applications
• Ability to translate technical information into simple explanations for sales teams
• Knowledge of heat exchangers or similar products is necessary
• Ability to review technical documents and product specifications
• Strong communication & cross-functional coordination skills
• Problem solving & analytical thinking

Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience in technical sales, inside sales, or engineering support roles
