Assistant Manager

We are a growing embroidery manufacturing unit looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Office Manager to support our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, coordinating across teams, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and track job work orders from initiation to completion
• Coordinate with clients for order updates, timelines, and deliveries
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and purchase orders
• Manage and monitor raw material inventory — procurement, inward entries, and stock records
• Maintain accurate records, MIS reports, and filing (physical & digital)
• Liaise with floor supervisors and blue-collar workforce for daily operations
• Support the office manager in vendor management and coordination
• Handle basic data entry, invoicing, and dispatch documentation

Who we are looking for

• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or fashion production unit
• Comfortable working with factory workers, tailors, and production staff
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting/ERP tools
• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
• Good communication in Hindi; working knowledge of English preferred
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure during peak production seasons
• Honest, punctual, and willing to take ownership of tasks
