BA Trainee

About the RoleWe are looking for enthusiastic and analytical Business Analyst (BA) Trainees who are passionate about technology, business processes, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate should be a B.Tech graduate with a basic understanding of business analysis concepts, strong communication skills, and practical knowledge of AI tools and their usage.

The trainee will work closely with the Business Analysis, Project Management, Product, and Development teams to understand business requirements, document processes, support project execution, and assist in creating efficient solutions using both traditional analysis methods and modern AI-powered tools.

• Key Responsibilities1. Requirement Gathering & AnalysisAssist in understanding business requirements from internal teams or clients
• Participate in meetings to gather project-related information
• Help identify business needs, challenges, and possible solutions
• Support in translating business requirements into clear and structured documentation
• 2. Documentation & ReportingPrepare and maintain documents such as:
• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
• User Stories
• Process Flows
• Use Cases
• Meeting Minutes (MoM)
• Organize and maintain project-related data and documentation
• Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and presentations
• 3. Coordination with Internal TeamsCoordinate with:
• Development Team
• UI/UX Team
• QA Team
• Project Managers
• Stakeholders
• Follow up on project tasks and updates
• Help ensure proper communication between technical and non-technical teams
• 4. Process Understanding & ImprovementStudy existing business processes and workflows
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or improvement areas
• Assist in suggesting process improvements and workflow enhancements
• 5. AI Tool UtilizationUse AI tools to improve productivity, research, documentation, and analysis
• Assist in preparing requirement drafts, summaries, process notes, and research outputs using AI tools
• Support the team in identifying practical ways to use AI tools in business analysis activities
• Ensure AI tools are used responsibly and effectively for project-related tasks
• 6. Market / Competitor / Product ResearchConduct basic market and competitor research
• Collect and summarize relevant business or product insights
• Support in preparing research-based analysis for internal use
• 7. Testing & Validation SupportAssist in validating whether project deliverables match the documented requirements
• Support the QA or project team during UAT / internal testing phases
• Help track issues, changes, and requirement updates
• Required SkillsTechnical / Functional SkillsBasic understanding of Business Analysis concepts
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology (preferred)
• Basic understanding of:
• Requirement gathering
• Process documentation
• User stories
• Workflow mapping
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
• Basic understanding of tools such as:
• Jira / Trello / ClickUp / Asana (preferred)
• Figma / Lucidchart / Miro / Draw.io (preferred)

AI Tool Knowledge (Mandatory / Preferred)Candidate should have basic hands-on understanding of AI tools and know how to use them effectively for day-to-day work.

Eligibility CriteriaCandidate should:

• Have basic knowledge of AI tools and practical usage
• Be comfortable working in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
• Be willing to learn documentation, requirement analysis, and business process understanding
