Backend Web Developer

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs

* Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices

* Develop and optimize database structures and queries

* Ensure application performance, security, and reliability

* Integrate third-party APIs and services

* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments

*Required Skills & Qualifications*

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

* 1–5 years of experience in backend development

* Strong knowledge of one or more backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, etc.)

* Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Django, Spring Boot, or ASP.NET Core

* Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

* Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture

* Familiarity with Git and version control systems

* Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

*Preferred Skills*

* Experience with Docker and containerization

* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

* Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)

* Experience with caching systems like Redis

* Knowledge of system design principles
