Business Analyst-LFO IND

This role requires data management and Financial Products and Ameriprise Advisor performance metric reporting. Design and develop databases to streamline reporting. Structure reports, which includes data gathering and accurate execution of reports, and comprise ad-hoc analysis. Automate report preparation and check for data integrity and quality.
Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for Advice and Wealth Management LFO Business Facing Team.
Ability to communicate with leaders and U.S. business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report structuring, including data gathering and timely and accurate execution of reports including ad-hoc analysis.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for AWM LFO Business Facing Team.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects based on the business needs.
  • Work closely with Business for Month end reporting.
  • Must be able to maintain the documentation and ensure quality is maintained throughout.
  • Manage personal reports/activities and maintain desk Instructions to support back-up planning. 


Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, Hyperion Essbase, SQL.
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong logical, analytical and abstract thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of running queries using SAS
  • Knowledge of using and updating JIRA
