About the Role


The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, client meetings, proposal creation, and achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and online platforms.
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings.
  • Maintain an active pipeline using CRM tools.


2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Present company products/services to prospective clients.
  • Understand client needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term growth.


3. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Prepare sales proposals, pricing quotes, and business presentations.


4. Market Analysis

  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Provide insights to support strategy and product development.


5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and leads.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, product, etc.).


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or business development (varies by company).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
