Experience Required: 1–8 years (E-commerce, Logistics, Courier, Last Mile Delivery, B2C Sales)
■ Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for acquiring new clients, expanding business partnerships, and promoting logistics & e-commerce fulfilment services. This role requires strong communication skills, client handling experience, and knowledge of e-commerce operations.
■ Key Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition & Lead Generation
• Identify and target sellers, D2C brands, warehouses, and distributors.
• Cold calls, referrals, and online platforms.
• Pitch services like last-mile delivery, fulfilment centers, warehousing, and B2C logistics.
2. Business Growth & Revenue Development
• Convert leads into active clients and onboard them onto EW Courier platforms.
• Negotiate pricing, commissions, and service agreements.
• Achieve monthly sales and onboarding KPIs.
3. Client Relationship Management
• Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors.
• Handle client issues, provide support, and coordinate with operations.
• Regular follow-up to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
4. Market Research & Competitor Tracking
• Study market trends in e-commerce & logistics.
• Track competitors like Amazon Shipping, Ecom Express, Shadowfax, Delhivery.
• Identify new business opportunities.
5. Coordination & Reporting
• Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports and sales pipelines.
• Present performance reports to senior management.
■ Required Skills
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of e-commerce & logistics operations
• Ability to achieve sales targets
• Basic MS Excel & CRM tools knowledge
• Customer handling and problem-solving ability
■ Qualification
• Graduation required
• Only experienced candidates (minimum 1 year) eligible
