Job Description

Position: Business Development Manager (BDM)Location: As per company requirement

Department: Sales / Business Development

Reporting To: Senior Management / Sales Head

Role OverviewThe Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets. The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to close deals effectively.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and negotiations to clients
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and client satisfaction
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, clients, and revenue forecasts
  • Attend meetings, site visits, and business events as required
  • Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Result-oriented with strong closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
  • QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage
  • ExperienceMinimum 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
  • Experience in relevant industry will be preferred
