Civil Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D/3D building drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Draft structural and architectural drawings as per project requirements
• Develop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and site teams
• Revise drawings based on site feedback and client changes
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and standards
• Prepare layout plans, foundation plans, and reinforcement details
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records

Required Skills & Software

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Knowledge of Revit / SketchUp / Civil 3D (preferred)
• Understanding of building construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
• Basic knowledge of BOQs, measurements, and quantities
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting
• Relevant experience in building drafting & designing

Preferred Experience

• Residential & commercial building projects
• Site coordination experience
• Knowledge of local construction norms
