Debt Recovery Agent

Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers via calls, emails, and messages to remind them of pending dues.
• Follow up with students, parents, or institutions to ensure timely fee payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and payment commitments in the CRM system.
• Resolve customer queries related to invoices, payment modes, and due amounts.
• Negotiate and provide feasible payment solutions without compromising company policy.
• Coordinate with the sales and support teams for dispute resolution.
• Monitor and track daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
• Escalate accounts with high delinquency risk to the management team.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to collections.
• Provide feedback to the management on recurring payment issues and customer concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in collections, receivables, or a similar role; experience in the EdTech industry is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
