Debt Recovery Officer to join our debt recovery company. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting clients, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding debts while maintaining professionalism and compliance with legal guidelines.

• Key ResponsibilitiesContact debtors via phone, email, and written communication to recover outstanding payments
• Negotiate repayment plans and settlements in a professional and ethical manner
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment arrangements
• Monitor debtor accounts and follow up on overdue payments
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
• Handle debtor queries and disputes effectively
• Achieve monthly recovery targets and performance goals
• Work closely with the legal and finance teams when escalation is required
• Requirements & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Proven experience in debt collection, customer service, or call center roles
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle difficult conversations calmly and professionally
• Basic computer skills and experience with CRM or collection systems
• Knowledge of debt recovery laws and regulations is an advantage
