Collections Specialist

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Credit Control Team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on multiple products with the business. The team consists of 18 and is reporting to the Credit Control Manager. 

 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments   

 

• At least three years relevant work experience and understands what debit and credits 

• Possess a good understanding of word, outlook, lotus notes and excel with the ability to produce spreadsheets. 

• Excellent communication skills are essential 

• Works comfortably in an environment of ambiguity and change 

• Able to operate on own initiative 

• Able to identify and solve problems 

• Demonstrate integrity when influencing others to meet business objectives 

• Proficient in written and spoken English 

•  

It would be great if you also had . . .   

 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial industry/ US debt collections 

• Bachelor's degree  

 

What will you be doing in this role?  

 

• Works with a minimum of direction on collection of overdue debt utilizing telephone calls, e-mails and mail 

• Provide appropriate support/copy documentation, as requested by clients or required to support claim for payment 

• Research client queries and provide appropriate responses in a timely manner 

• Account reconciliation to align with client accounts - some research into payments will be required 

• Interact with both internal and external colleagues/customers to facilitate resolution of any issues raised and negotiate to bring payment into line with terms 

• Maintains accurate individual measurement and performance statistics 

• Produce reports relating to debt analysis as required 

   

About the Team  

   

The team consist of 18 people from multiple locations from UK, India, Australia, Jersey, Hong Kong. 

We have a wealth of knowledge within the team which have been with the company from 1 year to 17 years. 

 

Hours of Work   

 

4pm - 1 am IST (5 days working)
