Compliance Analyst

The General Counsel's Organization (GCO) team in India, includes the legal and compliance functions that support Ameriprise Financial and its subsidiaries. This team work on different aspects of client services. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance Training team. The individual will be responsible for managing end to end trainings implementation process, which includes, training launch, tracking, auditing and reporting through various tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support training implementation duties, which include, ownership of learner correspondence via shared inbox, facilitation of quarterly learner enrollment, perform training launch intake, track learner completions, provide tracking reporting and follow-up and execute course testing.

  • Manage multiple changing priorities in response to legal and regulatory requests in a focused and responsive manner. This may include simple data pulls to more complex analysis to long-term solution-based tool and process building.

  • Conduct analysis and suggest process improvement for involved duties. This includes attending broader team meetings to absorb knowledge of other processes associated with the training deployment.

  • Respond to regulatory request received regarding trainings. Work with business partners to gather required documentation for the responding to regulators in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent English language skills- both written and spoken as the role requires interaction with various business groups.

  • Strong knowledge of advance excel and High level experience in Microsoft Office products (Specially Excel and Word)

  • 1-4 years of experience in with expertise in Excel, PowerBI and SQL Languages

  • Excellent technical and analytical skills


  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to SharePoint, Power BI, Excel preferred

  • Competent in utilization of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Knowledge on financial industry, industry trends

  • Highly proficient independent communicator

  • Exposure to Visualization tools such as Power BI is advantage
