Ø Purpose of Position

 

• To take up the role of  Dy Technical Manager for Industry Business Line BV India as per Scope mentioned under Job Title the position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

 

Ø Major Responsibilities

 

• Assist Technical Manager HO
• Management of all LTO for IND BL.
• Review of Monitoring Management system and Support TQR to prepare the organization to maintain ISO 9001, ISO 17020 accreditations
• Identify the Training needs for Surveyors Region wise based on Existing and New Market needs.
• Manage Customer Complaints for IND BL along with TQR.
• Updating and Distribution of all Methodology’s and Technical Procedures to all Inspectors after review with specific comments.

 

Specific accountabilities

 

• Quality Management

• For IND BL assist TQR to develop, guide and manage all BV Group management systems, based on corporate company guidelines, customer specifications ,and legal regulations
• Monitor the Management systems and steer corrections if necessary.

 

• Technical

• Assist BLM in Technical Management of BV services
• Implement Technical requirements for international services (initial and on-going training, qualifications, methodology, supervision, mapping of competencies).
• Contributes to the definition of technical requirements for Training and Upgradation of Inspectors.
• Coordinate the portfolio of licenses to operate for IND BL.

 

RISK Management

• Identify major risks that could affect the organization in its operations and profitability through continuous spanning of environment for risks prevention.

 

Ø Technical Knowledge, Qualification and Experience  

• BE / B.Tech/ Diploma Mechanical/Metallurgy from any recognised University/ Institution
• ISO 9001 :2025 Lead auditor /ISO 17020               
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Industry
• Out of which 2 years in Quality Assurance System in a reputed ISO 9001 accredited 
• Company managing the internal quality and
• At least he must have 2 years of Inspection experience in a reputed TPI / Fabrication   Company / EPC/ Project organization/ Manufacturing unit /O & M
• Aware of ASME, IS, API, BS ,Indian Standards

• Identify risks to the organization
• Good communicator
• Ability to comprehend technical queries, problem and nuances of standards like ASME, IS, API, BS Indian Standards and interpreting the requirements.
