Job Title: Education Counsellor / Team Lead - Education Counsellor

Role Overview As a Senior Education Counsellor (and Team Lead), you will play a pivotal role in guiding students and professionals toward the right educational pathways while also managing and mentoring a team of counsellors. You will be responsible for driving enrolments, building strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional counselling standards in both individual (B2C) and institutional (B2B) contexts.

  • Key Responsibilities: Counselling & Advisory

  • Provide personalized educational counseling to students, parents, and professionals.
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable courses, programs, or solutions.
  • Conduct webinars, workshops, and presentations for B2B partners (schools, colleges, and corporations).
  • Business Development (B2B & B2C)

  • Drive enrollments and meet revenue targets through effective counseling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional partners.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design outreach strategies.
  • Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of counselors to achieve performance goals.
  • Monitor counseling quality and ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Motivate the team to deliver excellent customer experience and meet targets.
  • Process & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and conversions.
  • Provide regular reports on performance, pipeline, and market insights.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and ethical counseling practices.
  • Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in educational counseling, preferably in EdTech.
  • Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C education markets.
  • Proven track record of meeting enrollment/revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Tech-savvy, with comfort in using CRM tools, online platforms, and digital communication.
