Educational Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management & Leadership:

• Lead, train, and manage a team of education counsellors.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team.
• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Conduct regular training sessions to improve counselling skills and product knowledge.

Student Counselling & Conversions:

• Guide prospective students regarding courses, career paths, and program benefits.
• Handle escalations and high-priority leads personally.
• Ensure high conversion rates from leads to admissions.
• Maintain a strong follow-up mechanism for leads.

Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement counselling strategies to maximize enrollments.
• Collaborate with marketing team to improve lead quality.
• Analyze data and generate reports on conversions, lead sources, and performance metrics.
• Identify gaps in the counselling process and implement improvements.

Operations & Process Management:

• Ensure smooth day-to-day counselling operations.
• Maintain CRM discipline and accurate data tracking.
• Standardize counselling scripts and processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical counselling practices.

Key Requirement's:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (MBA preferred).
• 3–6 years of experience in education counselling or admissions, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record in achieving admission/conversion targets.
• Experience in EdTech or Education industry preferred.
