Job Summary

The Junior Project Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing cost estimates for projects, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the project team in budgeting and planning. The role involves reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine accurate project costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Collect and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Assist in preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
• Support senior estimation engineers in tender preparation.
• Maintain estimation databases and records.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities in projects.
• Prepare estimation reports and documentation.
• Installation, Testing & Commissioning

Required Skills

• Knowledge of project costing and estimation techniques.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of BOQ and tendering process.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cost estimation tools.
• Knowledge of construction or EPC projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or project management software.
