Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Electrician who is also comfortable handling basic carpentry and fitting work, especially related to door lock and smart device installations.

This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys both electrical and minor mechanical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot OKOS smart switches, locks, lights, and other IoT products.
• Perform electrical wiring, switchboard connections, and network (Wi-Fi/Zigbee) device setups.
• Carry out carpentry-related work required during door lock installations, including chiseling, drilling, and fitting strike plates neatly.
• Handle site visits for product installations, inspections, and after-sales service.
• Coordinate with the technical lead and sales team for project-based installation tasks.
• Maintain tools, materials, and a clean working environment at all times.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction during each installation.

Requirements

• Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent certification.
• Experience: 2–5 years in electrical installation/service (experience in smart lock or automation products preferred).

Skills:

• Strong understanding of single-phase and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Hands-on carpentry/fitting experience (door or furniture hardware preferred).
• Ability to use hand tools like drill, chisel, jigsaw, and measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of mobile apps for product pairing/configuration.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.

Language: Basic Hindi/English communication.

• Technically curious and willing to learn new smart home devices.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-disciplined.
• Comfortable working independently at customer sites.
