Embedded Hardware Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an Embedded Hardware Engineer with 1.5–2 years of hands-on experience in electronics bring-up, board validation, and hardware debugging. This role focuses on testing, debugging, and validating embedded hardware.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform board bring-up of embedded hardware platforms and prototypes

2. Validate hardware functionality against design specifications

3. Debug issues related to power, interfaces, and signal integrity

4. Use lab instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyser, Multimeter) for troubleshooting

5. Work closely with firmware teams to enable and stabilize hardware

6. Identify and isolate hardware issues during system integration

7. Support production teams in resolving field or manufacturing-related hardware issues

8. Execute test plans and document results for validation cycles

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related field

2. 1.5–2 years of hands-on experience in board bring-up and hardware debugging

3. Strong fundamentals in analog and digital electronics

4. Experience working with microcontrollers and embedded systems

5. Familiarity with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN (preferred)

6. Hands-on experience with debugging tools (DSO, logic analyzer, power supplies)

7. Ability to read and understand schematics

Preferred Skills

1. Experience in hardware validation, testing, or NPI environments

2. Exposure to production support or failure analysis

3. Basic understanding of firmware-hardware interaction

4. Familiarity with test automation or scripting is a plus

2. Good communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams

3. Detail-oriented with structured problem-solving approach.
