The RFx team is a strategic presales function that partners with Sales and Solution Consulting to win high‑value deals across Adobe’s Digital Experience portfolio. The team brings together solution architecture, storytelling, and execution excellence to translate customer challenges into long‑term digital experience visions, differentiated proposals, and compelling demos that showcase the power of Adobe Experience Cloud.

About the RFx Team and Proposal Manager Role

About the role

The RFx Proposal & Solution Architecture Manager will lead end‑to‑end proposal strategy, solution design, and demo orchestration for qualified opportunities, acting as a trusted advisor to sales leaders and customers. This role combines deep MarTech architecture expertise with strong narrative, writing, and presentation skills to craft persuasive responses spanning RFx documents, vision micro demos, and executive presentations that clearly articulate business value and technical feasibility.

What your will be responsible for

  • Lead RFx responses for strategic opportunities, working on qualified deals to interpret customer requirements, define win themes, and build contextualized, high‑quality proposals.

    · Partner with Sales and Solution Consultants to assess customer environments, identify Experience Cloud fit, and design end‑to‑end architectures that address customer journeys, integrations, and scalability.

    · Own the proposal plan from initiation to submission, driving cadence, managing work‑streams, and ensuring on‑time, compliant, and differentiated deliverables across technical and business tracks.

    · Act as Solution Architect and Subject Matter Expert, defining reference architectures, integration patterns, and deployment approaches for Adobe DX solutions (e.g., content, data, marketing automation, commerce).

    · Create and orchestrate vision demos, micro‑demos, and prototype experiences that bring the proposed architecture and value story to life for both technical and executive stakeholders.

    · Build reusable customer‑facing assets (architecture blueprints, demo scripts, POV outlines, playbooks) that raise proposal quality and accelerate response velocity across the RFx team.

    · Coordinate inputs from cross‑functional stakeholders (sales, product, marketing, finance, legal, delivery) and synthesize them into a single, coherent narrative and solution design.

    · Mentor and coach the RFx and presales team on solutioning best practices, demo storytelling, and architecture patterns, including running knowledge‑sharing sessions and internal enablement.

What you’ll do

  • Establish yourself as an influential leader in proposal management, solution architecture, and RFx strategy for Adobe Digital Experience.

    · Shape deal strategy by aligning customer business drivers with Adobe’s architecture vision, challenging assumptions, and identifying gaps in customer journeys and technical readiness.

    · Lead “win rooms” and workshops to define solution options, risks, and trade‑offs, building consensus across internal teams and customer stakeholders.

    · Translate complex architectural concepts (data flows, integrations, security, scalability) into clear, business‑friendly narratives and visuals suitable for CXO audiences.

    · Deliver high‑impact demos and presentations that connect technical capabilities to measurable outcomes such as revenue growth, personalization, operational efficiency, and customer lifetime value.

    · Represent the team in conferences, customer events, blogs, and internal forums to showcase best practices, reusable demo assets, and thought leadership around presales architecture and RFx excellence

What you need to succeed

  • B.Tech or MBA (or equivalent) with 12–15 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or cloud‑based digital experience implementations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise and MarTech architecture, including at least one core area such as Customer Data Platforms, marketing automation, content management/experience (AEM‑like platforms), or commerce.
  • Hands‑on experience designing end‑to‑end architectures across data, content, activation, and analytics layers, including APIs, integrations, identity, and security considerations.
  • Proven RFx and proposal management experience, including leading complex RFP/RFI responses, orchestrating cross‑functional contributions, and driving technical win outcomes.
  • Demonstrated demo excellence: skilled at using demo tools and pre‑built libraries, building custom scenarios, and adapting demos for different personas while maintaining strong storytelling and engagement.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a track record of delivering high‑quality proposals and solutions on time in fast‑paced environments.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft CXO‑level narratives and visually compelling decks and diagrams.
  • Proficiency with productivity and design tools (Office Suite, collaboration platforms, basic design/prototyping tools) and comfort learning Adobe’s own experience and design tools quickly.
  • High ownership, creativity, and growth mindset, with a passion for staying current on digital experience, architecture, and AI‑driven MarTech trends.
