Fashion Merchandiser

We are looking for a Textile Merchandiser with strong hands-on experience in garments production, quality control, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in managing end-to-end merchandising, from order confirmation to final dispatch, while ensuring high quality standards and controlled costing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complete merchandising cycle from order development to shipment
• Coordinate with production, sourcing, sampling, and quality teams
• Ensure garment quality standards as per buyer requirements
• Monitor fabric, trims, and accessories quality
• Identify and implement cost-cutting opportunities without compromising quality
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for best pricing and lead times
• Follow up on production timelines and ensure on-time delivery
• Conduct in-line, pre-final, and final quality checks
• Maintain documentation including cost sheets, T&A, POs, and buyer communication
• Resolve production and quality issues proactively

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and finishing
• Excellent understanding of production quality control processes
• Proven experience in costing, cost reduction, and vendor management
• Ability to handle multiple styles and orders simultaneously
• Good communication skills with buyers, factories, and internal teams
• Experience in exports is preferred
• Proficient in MS Excel and merchandising tools
