Job Summary

The Feature Phone Assembling Line Manager is responsible for managing the complete mobile phone assembly line operations. This role ensures efficient production, quality control, workforce supervision, and adherence to production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

• Manage the complete feature phone assembly line operations.

• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are achieved.

• Monitor line efficiency, productivity, and output quality.

• Coordinate with the production planning team for smooth operations.

2. Team Management

• Supervise assembly line workers, technicians, and supervisors.

• Train staff on assembly procedures and quality standards.

• Maintain discipline and proper workflow on the production floor.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure all phones meet company quality standards before packaging.

• Monitor defect rates and implement corrective actions.

• Coordinate with the QC team for inspection and testing processes.

4. Process Improvement

• Identify ways to improve assembly efficiency and reduce wastage.

• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production.

• Optimize workstation layout and assembly workflow.

5. Inventory & Material Management

• Ensure timely availability of components like PCB, battery, display, housing, keypad, etc.

• Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement team to avoid production delays.

6. Maintenance Coordination

• Work with the technical team for machine maintenance and calibration.

• Ensure minimal downtime on the assembly line.

7. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to factory safety regulations.

• Maintain clean and organized production environment (5S standards).
