Freight Broker

Summary:

A freight broker serves as a communication between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline.

· Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.

· Providing customers with shipping quotes.

· Booking orders with carriers.

· Collaborating with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.

· Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Min. 2+ years of work experience in logistics (OTR + Drayage) only.

· Expert in US Logistics Brokerage Sales.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities.

· Matured, Professional & Well mannered.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Outstanding people skills.

· Proficient negotiating skills.

· This is a sales job that requires you to have solid operational skills, we are looking to hire people who want to grow professionally & personally as well.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20000 - ₹50000 per month

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• US shift
