Job Description: International Payroll Specialist (10+ Years of Experience)

Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented International Payroll Specialist to manage and oversee the payroll operations across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in international payroll management, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in a global payroll environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with regional teams, payroll providers, and finance departments to facilitate smooth payroll operations.

Compliance and Regulations:

  • Stay updated on local, national, and international payroll laws, tax codes, and labor regulations.
  • Ensure payroll practices align with legal requirements and corporate policies.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations.
  • Leverage technology and automation to streamline payroll workflows.

Reporting and Audits:

  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance.

Employee Relations:

  • Address payroll-related queries from employees promptly and effectively.

Vendor Management:

  • Oversee relationships with third-party payroll vendors and service providers.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to align payroll processes with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (any) preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in India and international payroll management, including multi-country operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with tax systems, statutory filings, and payroll calculations across multiple jurisdictions.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Compliance Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of India payroll compliance, including taxation.
