Impact 

 

As Globalization Program Manager, you will be leading the Globalization team which will be responsible for Globalization programs across all departments of PitneyBowes. You will be responsible for adapting a company's content and products for international markets. Manage the localization process from start to finish, including translation, quality assurance, and cultural fit. You are expected to be hands on and up to date with the latest technology stack.  The Job 

• Provide client and employee experience in all business languages by driving high-quality globalization programs 

• Evangelize and educate internal customers and stakeholders on globalization best practices 

• Lead engagement with internal stakeholders to understand challenges and find opportunities for improvement 

• Lead a team of Globalization Program Managers, providing strategic direction, performance management and development to drive successful globalization initiatives 

• Drive research and incorporate new market solutions, including AI, to optimize company’s globalization strategy 

• Present strategy and progress to upper management team, lead strategy reviews with internal sponsors 

• Optimize and oversee the self-service localization request process, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for internal stakeholders 

• Oversee vendor relationships, managing language service providers and technology partners to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in localization workflows 

• Continuously work to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of globalization programs 

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

Must Have 

• 5+ years in globalization, localization program management 

• Strong skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams 

• Proficiency in localization technologies (TMS, AI-driven solutions, automation) 

• Fluency in English, and preferably at least one more language 

• Strong organization skills, track record of process improvement 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills 

• Excellent understanding of software localization management 

Good to Have 

• Experience in a large, global enterprise environment, on a translation buyer side 

• Proficiency in multiple languages 

• Understanding of terminology management principles 

Education  

 

MA degree in linguistics, language technology, or relevant industry experience
